Faculty

Qualifications

Mentor Teachers

Master’s degree in Education, completed Teacher Education Program

Mentern Teachers

Master’s degree in Education (or in process), completed Teacher Education Program

Intern Teachers

Bachelor’s degree, enrolled in Teacher Education Program

Administrative faculty include an Executive Director, two Directors, a Business Manager, and a Building and Office Manager.

Additional faculty include a Theater Arts Teacher, two Studio Teachers, a Technology Manager, and several Support Teachers.

All faculty have extensive background checks, CPR and First Aid certifications, and Universal Precautions training.

All teachers participate in ongoing professional development. Opportunities include: weekly planning meetings, monthly faculty meetings, workshops, inservices, professional development groups, and work with consultants.


7:30-8:00

Early drop off for all students in the theater: beginning the day, greeting friends and families, reading stories, playing games, dressing up…

8:00-9:00

Before school enrichment in classrooms: preparing for the day, watering plants, feeding classroom pets, collecting and sorting materials from the studio, welcoming more friends…

9:00-1:00

Class time: exchanging ideas with families, friends, and faculty, attending a group meeting, making decisions about the day, pursuing interests, working on projects, eating together, exploring outside, negotiating and resolving conflicts, collaborating, visiting the studio and the theater, sharing stories, singing songs, revisiting documentation, going on adventures in the school and in the community…

1:00-5:00

Afternoon enrichment in classrooms: napping, resting, continuing projects,  reflecting on the day…

5:00-5:30

Late pick up for all students in the theater: ending the day, dancing to music, performing, acting, climbing, running, playing with friends, saying goodbye…
